III FORUM POLSKI WSCHODNIEJ ‘EASTERN POLAND BUSINESS FORUM’

We would like to invite you to participate in the 3rd Eastern Poland Business Forum held on June 10-11, 2013 in Kielce.
This year’s general theme of the Forum, organized by Polska Agencja Informacji i Inwestycji Zagranicznych S.A.  (Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency) is "Crisis in Europe, opportunities in Poland. The time for new directions and ideas - the time for Eastern Poland.”

The Forum is dedicated to entrepreneurs, Polish and foreign investors, business environment institutions, entities interested in investing and establishing economic co-operation with the region, as well as local government units from Eastern Poland. Invitations have also been sent to representatives of trade and opinion-making circles.
The goal of the Forum is to establish positive economic climate around Eastern Poland through references to the specific character and advantages of this macro-region. This year’s, third edition will be divided into two panel sessions where major issues will be discussed related to the problems of the European crisis, the directions of the European integration and the budget perspective for 2014-2020. Moreover, opportunities for investing and conducting business activity in Eastern Poland will be presented, as well as methods of fostering development of local entrepreneurship and exports.
The ambition of the Forum is also to continue discussions about the opportunities for the region to open up to co-operation with countries outside Europe, as well as furthering the debate on the future of those economic industries that are of key importance to the region.
The extensive offering of discussion panels attended by experts will be complemented by a number of workshops aimed at company owners and local authorities, dedicated among others to the principles of acquiring financing for new business initiatives, rules of holding negotiations with foreign business partners, current trends in industrial design or public-private partnership.
The 3rd Eastern Poland Business Forum is organized as part of the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme, co-financed by the Development of Eastern Poland Programme.
